Black Box Data Analysis

TRL provides services in the analysis of diagnostic information contained within vehicle electronic systems.  We also provide services whereby our experts act as independent observers when manufacturers are required to download and examine electronic information from vehicles.

TRL possesses expertise in the analysis of outputs from incident data recorders (black boxes). In particular we have considerable experience and capability to download and interpret information from:

• Mix Telematix (Siemens) UDS data recorder and the
• RSG Explorer and Jupiter systems
• Vehicle bourn GPS tracking systems
• Aftermarket ‘race telemetry' systems

Furthermore, TRL has the Bosch Data Retrieval Tool, a device that retrieves Event Data Recorder information from the Electronic Control Modules of American vehicles.
