Security Barrier Testing
TRL's test track facilities are used to test manufacturers security barriers under independent and controlled conditions. |

We are authorised to test devices to the requirements of PAS 68, the UK Standard and also to American Standard ASTM F 2656-07 "Standard Test Method for Vehicle Crash Testing of Perimeter Barriers", formerly the "Certification Standard - Test Method for Vehicle Crash Testing of Perimeter Barriers and Gates" SD-STD-02.01, Revision A, March 2003 issued by the U.S. Department of State, Diplomatic Security. In essence then, TRL is able to test barriers to both UK and USA Standards.
TRL has responsibility for archiving all results of such tests undertaken for the Government Security Services within the United Kingdom, namely the Centre for the Protection of the National Infrastructure (CPNI).
