BITUMINOUS BINDERS AND MIX DESIGN - UPDATE (2006-2008)

This issue of Current Topics includes over 75 abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles which focus on bituminous mixture design systems and the use of modified binder specifications. Abstracts on the SUPERPAVE system, stone mastic asphalt, hot mix asphalt, and AUSTROADS mix designs are included. Methods of testing mixtures such as gyratory compaction are also covered. These items have been selected from the material added to the Transport Research Laboratory's Library Database between 2006 and 2008. Much of the relevant English language published literature from the UK, USA, Australia and Europe is included; some of the non-UK literature is included courtesy of the OECD International Transport Research Documentation (ITRD) database.
