Amenity paving (including concrete block paving) update (1999-2003)

This issue of Current Topics includes 60 abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles which focus on amenity paving including concrete block paving and the use of natural materials such as granite setts. Some abstracts are included on the use of recycled materials and coloured surfacing materials. Abstracts are included on design of amenity paving, its construction and durability, specifications, urban renovation projects, and drainage. These items have been selected from the material added to the Transport Research Laboratory's Library Database between 1999 and 2003. Much of the relevant English language published literature from the UK, USA, Australia and Europe is included; some of the non-UK literature is included courtesy of the OECD International Transport Research Documentation (ITRD) database.
