Electronic route guidance - update (2006-2008)

This issue of Current Topics includes over 65 abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles which focus on aspects of electronic route guidance for drivers. Amongst the subjects for which abstracts are provided are applications of route guidance such as traffic control, in-car navigation, winter maintenance, dynamic route guidance initiatives in various cities, logistics and route choice. These items have been selected from the material added to the Transport Research Laboratory's Library Database between 2006 and 2008. Much of the relevant English language published literature from the UK, USA, Australia and Europe is included; some of the non-UK literature is included courtesy of the OECD International Transport Research Documentation (ITRD) database.
