Urban Traffic Control - UPDATE (2006-2008)

This issue of Current Topics includes over 70 abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles which focus on trials, case studies and simulations of urban traffic management and control systems. Several abstracts concern greater integration of traffic control systems with driver information, traffic priority systems and road user charging. These items have been selected from the material added to the Transport Research Laboratory's Library Database between 2006 and 2008. Much of the relevant English language published literature from the UK, USA, Australia and Europe is included; some of the non-UK literature is included courtesy of the OECD International Transport Research Documentation (ITRD) database.
