DRIVER INFORMATION SYSTEMS - UPDATE (2007-2009)

This issue of Current Topics includes over 70 abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles which focus on systems for information on route and parking guidance, traffic conditions, weather warnings etc which can be made available to drivers from the roadside, from within the car or via telecommunications systems. Tests, trials and case studies covering the development and application of these systems are included. These items have been selected from the material added to the Transport Research Laboratory's Library Database between 2007 and 2009. Much of the relevant English language published literature from the UK, USA, Australia and Europe is included; some of the non-UK literature is included courtesy of the OECD International Transport Research Documentation (ITRD) database.
