MARKETING AND ACCEPTANCE OF INTELLIGENT TRANSPORT SYSTEMS - UPDATE (2007-2010)

This issue of Current Topics includes over 70 abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles which focus on attitudes to, acceptance of and marketing of intelligent transport systems to drivers and other road users. Among the technologies considered are: intelligent speed adaptation, road pricing, payment methods, driver information systems, route guidance systems, collision warning systems and passenger information systems. These items have been selected from the material added to the Transport Research Laboratory's Library Database between 2007 and 2010. Much of the relevant English language published literature from the UK, USA, Australia and Europe is included; some of the non-UK literature is included courtesy of the OECD International Transport Research Documentation (ITRD) database.
