Traffic monitoring and incident detection update (2001-2002)

This issue of Current Topics includes over 60 abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles that focus on driver warning systems, queue detection and measurement, detector loops, sensors, algorithms, image processing systems and video detection technology. These items have been selected from the material added to the TRL Library Database between 2001 and 2002. Much of the relevant English language published literature from the UK, USA, Australia and Europe is included; some of the non-UK literature is included courtesy of the OECD International Transport Research Documentation (ITRD) database.
