Bus priority measures update (2000-2002)

This issue of Current Topics includes over 60 abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles that focus on traffic signal priority systems for buses, signal changing technologies, guided busways, and high occupancy lanes and their enforcement. Many case studies are included of urban bus priority systems in various countries, including the UK. These items have been selected from the material added to the TRL Library Database between 2000 and 2002. Much of the relevant English language published literature from the UK, USA, Australia and Europe is included; some of the non-UK literature is included courtesy of the OECD International Transport Research Documentation (ITRD) database.
