Junction delay and safety update (2000-2002)

This issue of Current Topics includes over 75 abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles which focus on traffic flow and management at junctions, looking particularly at the issues that cause delays including driver behaviour. Also covered are junction design and signalised intersections. These items have been selected from the material added to the TRL Library Database between 2000 and 2002. Much of the relevant English language published literature from the UK, USA, Australia and Europe is included; some of the non-UK literature is included courtesy of the OECD International Transport Research Documentation (ITRD) database.
