TRANSPORT AND SOCIAL INCLUSION - UPDATE (2008-2009)

This issue of Current Topics includes over 65 abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles which focus on the effects of transport policies on social inclusion and exclusion. Abstracts of articles examining the effect of land prices, rural or urban location, vehicle ownership, road pricing, income, age, disability, attitudes to safety and other factors are included. These items have been selected from the material added to the Transport Research Laboratory's Library Database between 2008 and 2009. Much of the relevant English language published literature from the UK, USA, Australia and Europe is included; some of the non-UK literature is included courtesy of the OECD International Transport Research Documentation (ITRD) database.
