Accident black spots update (2001-2005)

This issue of Current Topics includes over 65 abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles which focus on identification and analysis of hazard locations (including the use of geographical information systems), software for incident recording, accident rate prediction, and accident reduction through road safety management and road improvements. These items have been selected from the material added to the Transport Research Laboratory's Library Database between 2001 and 2005. Much of the relevant English language published literature from the UK, USA, Australia and Europe is included; some of the non-UK literature is included courtesy of the OECD International Transport Research Documentation (ITRD) database.
