Street lighting and vehicle lighting updte (2000-2002)

This issue of Current Topics includes over 60 abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles that focus on the design and maintenance of lighting columns and luminaires, luminance level, effect of street lighting on road safety, design of vehicle headlamps, brake lights and the effectiveness of daytime running lights. These items have been selected from the material added to the TRL Library Database between 2000 and 2002. Much of the relevant English language published literature from the UK, USA, Australia and Europe is included; some of the non-UK literature is included courtesy of the OECD International Transport Research Documentation (ITRD) database.
