Analysis of fresh concrete: repeatability and reproducibility by the pressure-filter method

This Report describes the work carried out on a road construction site to estimate the precision, ie repeatability and reproducibility, of the cement content determination using the pressure-filter method. Twenty batches of plant-mixed concrete were sampled and tested in duplicate by four operators. The repeatability was found to be 25 kg cement/cu m and the reproducibility 32 kg cement/cu m. (A)
