the advisory panel on concrete road construction was set up in 1972 following the marked increase in the proportion of new trunk roads being constructed in pq concrete. its first (interim) report covers the period march 1972 to february 1973 and discusses the form its meetings have taken and the more important issues raised at these meetings. the report makes recommendations for changes in the current doe specification for road and bridge works (1969) and lists a number of items which the panel considers should be looked at prior to the next major revision. (a).
