Speed management assessment framework Spreadsheet

The spreadsheet is referred to in the DfT publication ‘Traffic Advisory Leaflet 02/06 Speed Assessment Framework'. The spreadsheet evaluates the possible consequences of changing the speed limit on a rural single carriageway road or network. It calculates the expected changes in the number of accidents, in time spent by vehicles on the road and in fuel consumption.
