TRL has been providing standards and specifications to aid road design for a number of years. We advise on the materials you should use, the thickness of the surface, taking into account predictive traffic loads, and the performance of materials on existing surfaces or roads. We also provide computer models which measure and analyse stresses and strains on surfaces.

TRL is a market leader and has been instrumental in developing the design guidelines for Highways Agency and Defence Estates.
