TRL sponsors Low Carbon Champions Award

TRL was delighted to present the ‘Low Carbon Vehicle Operator of the Year' award to Stagecoach at this year's LowCVP Low Carbon Champions Awards ceremony.

The Awards, which recognise best practice in the drive to cut carbon emissions from road transport, were presented at a Gala reception in London on 14 November - an event organised by the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership (LowCVP) in association with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

The judges chose the Stagecoach Group as the Low Carbon Vehicle Operator of the Year because of its commitment to reduce the carbon footprint of its bus and rail services across the UK and North America. The Group has in place a comprehensive Sustainable Strategy and has implemented a number of measures to reduce the impact of its operations on the environment.
