In an exciting new development, TRL and Design Pro Software Ltd have come together to launch two new TRL Software titles, Sign Design Pro and Line Design Pro.

This CAD based traffic signage and line design software facilitates the design of any traffic sign or line to TSRGD 2002* design standards whilst additional international standards are currently being added. Users can easily build original, bespoke signs or utilise one of the numerous existing signs that are included within the software's libraries whilst lines and road surface markings can be added by simply selecting where the user would like items to be located.

Sign Design Pro and Line Design Pro empower both new and experienced sign designers with the ability to create the most complex signs. Interactive arms, symbols and sign faces, standardised libraries, lane signing and a Tiger Tail tool are all included as standard in Sign Design Pro; Line Design Pro takes care of the design rules allowing the user to concentrate on their project designs. Sign Design Pro and Line Design Pro are the perfect choice for sign and line designers.

Plus, the free and fully integrated structural tool is very powerful and easy to use: designing posts and foundations that are cost effective but more importantly safe, becomes a quick and simple task in Sign Design Pro. Wind actions, torsion and bending forces are analysed in accordance with BS EN 12899-1 to produce and view 3D sign designs that are structurally safe and sound; posts are checked against bending, shear capacity and deflection, whilst foundations are checked against overturning, bearing pressure and sliding.
