Products

Tyre Derived Rubber Material products are generated directly from used land-based vehicle tyres by ambient or cryogenic processing technologies in accordance with the Quality Protocol for Tyre Derived Rubber Materials. This Quality Protocol does not apply to whole tyres. It applies to size-reduced tyre-derived rubber materials that are intended for use in bound and unbound applications.
The table below, reproduced from Table 5 of PAS107:2007, describes the products in more detail.

1) All exposed wire and textiles shall be firmly attached to the body of the rubber fragments.
2) Upon visual inspection
All certified tyre-derived rubber materials must be classified in accordance with these categories. These products are often themselves further processed into final end use products including for example, use in sports fields, equestrian ménages, playgrounds, and street furniture.
