Citroen Berlingo LCV wins ITM Best LCV 2012 award

The Citroen Berlingo light commercial vehicle (LCV) has won an award after being commended for its fuel efficiency and reliability.It was given the Institute of Transport Management's (ITM) Best LCV 2012 accolade and was also noted as providing a cost-effective and durable solution for companies.
The ITM said: "Businesses are looking for LCVs that are lighter, with lower emissions and better fuel efficiency, qualities that the Citroen Berlingo range has in spades."
Citroen has equipped the Berlingo with its Trafficmaster telematics package, which also helps to reduce emissions by taking drivers on the best route to avoid congestion.
Commercial Vehicle Operations Manager at the car manufacturer Scott Michael welcomed the news, saying the company is pleased to be recognised for its efforts in the areas of fuel efficiency, eco-friendliness and reliability.
Earlier this month, Volkswagen unveiled the new two-seat E-Bugster, which is an all-electric version of its famous Beetle car.
