Land Rover to unveil 'greenest ever models'

The "greenest" models Land Rover has ever produced will be on display at a forthcoming motoring event.According to the manufacturer, the Range_e will be showcased at next month's 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The vehicle is an electric plug-in development that uses diesel hybrid technology capable of 89 g/km CO2.
In addition, the new Range Rover Evoque will be on show for the first time, along with the Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate Edition - which Land Rover claims to be the most luxurious edition it has produced so far.
The new Range_e is based on the Range Rover Sport and features a 3.0-litre TDV6 diesel with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission.
Meanwhile, the Evoque allows customers to choose from three design themes.
Gerry McGovern, Land Rover's Design Director, said: "Customers like to make their own unique statement with a vehicle and we have provided individuals with lots of opportunity to personalise their new Range Rover Evoque."
Land Rover is hopeful that 2011 will be the most exciting year in its history.
Also set to display at the Geneva event is the EV Concept electric vehicle from Honda.
