London Bridge train services disrupted by fire

A fire in a disused railway arch unit in London Bridge station caused severe disruptions to train services from the station on Wednesday (March 3rd).The incident caused delays for hundreds of thousands of commuters as London Bridge, Charing Cross and Cannon Street stations were closed.
Services affected by the blaze include Southern, Southeastern and First Capital Connect.
The fire broke out in the early hours of Wednesday morning on Debnams Road, underneath the main route of Southeastern trains into the station, and was only completely put out in the afternoon.
A total of ten fire engines attended the scene.
A spokesperson for Network Rail told the Guardian: "It's an incredibly busy part of the network. So it's somewhat unfortunate that this incident has happened on that part of the line."
St Pancras, Victoria and Blackfriars stations remained open.
