Low-carbon fleet show coming to Silverstone

A low-carbon event aimed at fleet managers is being held at Silverstone racing circuit in Northamptonshire.

The EV and Low CO2 Fleet Show, organised by Fleet World magazine with the British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association, will take place on April 18th.

It will showcase some of the latest vehicle releases in the industry - such as electric, hybrid and low-carbon motors - and encourage decision-makers from the sector to test them out and see the benefits for themselves.

Manufacturers, infrastructure suppliers and fleet service companies will also be on hand to discuss new products and innovations to reduce carbon emissions.

Managing Director of Fleet World Ross Durkin said: "There's enormous potential for electric vehicles in the fleet sector - traditionally the earliest adopters of new vehicle technology."

This is not the only eco-friendly motor show taking place in the UK this year, as Ecovelocity is returning for a second year and will be held at ExCeL London between May 10th and 13th 2012.
