Motor Codes 'aims to raise customer satisfaction'

Motor Codes 'aims to raise customer satisfaction'

Date: 7/1/2011

Motor Codes, a self-regulatory body for the automobile industry that is backed by the government, is aiming to "raise the bar" for customer satisfaction levels this year.

According to the group, it hopes to increase the credibility of the garages that subscribe to it by providing top-level links to the government.

Ron Gainsford, Chief Executive of the Trading Standards Institute, has revealed that efforts will be particularly concentrated on the growth of the Service and Repair Code, as he looks to ensure that the standards of subscribers are met and maintained.

In addition, the body is committed to only promoting the best garages to customers.

Managing Director of Motor Codes Chris Mason says: "There is now a Motor Codes garage in every major town and city of the UK, which means greater peace of mind for motorists."

The three codes the group promotes are New Car, Service and Repair and Vehicle Warranty Products.
