Nol Blue Cards announced for Dubai

Date: 4/12/2009
The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority said it would roll out its Nol Blue Card online and throughout the capital's Metro stations this week.
Nol Cards are designed for commuters to securely carry up to 500 dirham (£81) in fares for use on Dubai's public transport system.
Applicants for Nol Blue Cards would require interested parties to fill out an application, present ID and a photo and wait for approval from the Unified Automated Fare Collection Department.
When approved, applicants would recieve an SMS message outlining a reference number and details of the delivery company used, since the card will be sent through a secure, express mail company.
The Nol Blue joins it's other Nol offerings: the Nol Gold and Silver Cards and the Nol Red ticket.
