North America Expo to showcase clean transport technology

The advancements being made in efforts to improve the efficiency of clean travel technology are set to be showcased at the Alternative Clean Transportation Expo, which opened yesterday (June 24th) at the Walter E Convention Center in Washington.Lasting for three days, the event is the largest conference dedicated to alternative fuels in North America, and is set to demonstrate the importance and potential of zero-emission modes of transportation.
Brian Wynne, president of the Electric Drive Transportation Association, said: "ACT Expo provides the EV industry a tremendous platform to showcase the performance and efficiency of electric drive to thousands of clean transportation stakeholders."
Part of the focus will be on designing electrified vehicle fleets that can be sold on the market, as well as the need to improve infrastructure so as it can support cleaner transport and facilitate a shift to towards the use of resources such as natural gas.
