Peugeot 'showcases sustainable vehicles'

Date: 21/4/2010

Peugeot is to hold an event at the Queens Campus of Durham University on April 22nd to highlight the work it has done in the field of sustainable transport.

The company will showcase a number of its more efficient vehicles, including the new i0n four-seat electric car, due to be launched in the UK towards the end of this year.

Beside this, the company's Bipper and Expert electric vans will also be on show.

"This is a perfect opportunity for people to get on the inside-rack of the latest phase of Peugeot's carbon reduction strategy and experience and embrace electric vehicles," said managing director of Peugeot UK Jon Goodman, who will be one of the hosts of the event.

Alongside the new vehicles, experts from the company's headquarters in Paris will be at the event to share details of the latest steps in Peugeot's carbon reduction strategy.
