Transport for London (TfL) has published a new guide that aims to help people get around the capital over the Christmas period. The Festive Travel Guide contains details of tube, bus, Docklands Light Railway (DLR) and London Overground services between December 24th and January 3rd.
It is available from all tube stations, online and at information points at bus and train stations, while TfL has encouraged passengers to check the booklet before travelling.
The organisation also confirmed all tube, bus, tram and DLR journeys will be free between 23:45 GMT on New Year's Eve and 04:30 on New Year's Day.
Revellers planning to spend the last night of the year in central London have been advised to plan ahead and be prepared for large crowds.
Britons were also urged to make travel plans in advance over the festive season by Julie Townsend - Campaigns Director at Brake - recently, who was warning of the dangers of drink driving.
