Two ITS (UK) Excellence Awards for TRL

TRL is delighted to announce that Dr Alan Stevens, Chief Scientist and Research Director Transportation Division and Denis Naberezhnykh, Senior ITS Consultant in the Sustainable Mobility Group have both won ITS UK Excellence Awards for Intelligent Transport Systems.

Dr Alan Stevens has been awarded the Neville Rees and Peter Hills Award for outstanding contribution.  Nominated by all the previous winners, Alan has been working on the application of new technology in transport for over 25 years.  Alan has also helped shape ITS (UK) since its inception.

Denis Naberezhnykh has been recognised as Young Professional of the Year, for the work he has undertaken and his developing expertise in electric vehicle technology, especially for adoption scenarios and charging infrastructure.
