Guest of Honour: Clare Moriarty, Director General, Rail, Department for Transport Following the publication of both the Brown Review and Network Rails business plan for 2014-19, this seminar will consider the future structure of the UKs rail network and how it can best be designed to continue making improvements in capacity and customer satisfaction. Planned sessions focus on potential changes to the franchising system, areas of network for investment, rolling stock procurement policy, above inflation fare rises and how far the cost savings identified by the McNulty report have been achieved.
