Track Access Charges 2013

Date: 13 November 2013

Venue: Frankfurt on the Main

Brief Description:

Track access charges form an essential part of operations in the liberalised EU railway system. The charges are an essential source of income for infrastructure managers and account for a significant part of the costs of a railway undertaking. The level and structure of the charge have a high impact on (intermodal) competitiveness, therefore the track access charging systems are an important issue in the development of rail.
