From 11 - 13 September 2013 and under this years motto "Walking Connects!", the most significant conference on walking and liveable communities will make its German debut in Munich. Experts and activists from all over the world will discuss the future of pedestrian mobility, the increase in urban quality and many other topics. The programme includes about 150 presentations, lectures and excursions from the areas of traffic planning, mobility management, city design, health promotion and others. At Walk21, experts from all around the world will meet along with international NGOs and initiatives focusing on various aspects of walking.
