STTRIDE has identified technology based interventions which could impact on modal change over the next 20 years and used this analysis to develop an evaluation framework to assess their impacts and to inform investment decisions. These guidelines cover each stage in the process of selecting and evaluating interventions to achieve modal shift. The guidelines have been developed on the basis of experience and best practice in evaluation guidance for transport interventions more generally, and are therefore expected to be of value to a wide range of transport initiatives and authorities.
