TRL currently operates all seven of Wandsworth Borough Council’s air quality monitoring stations. The purpose of the monitoring is to fulfil the Council’s statutory obligations for Local Air Quality Management (LAQM) as set out in Part IV of the Environment Act, and the relevant Policy and Technical Guidance documents.

TRL initially supplied, installed and operated the two Putney high street sites, this included LSO duties, servicing, maintenance, and repairs. TRL has more recently installed sites at Tooting and Clapham and currently carries out the LSO duties, servicing, maintenance and repairs for these sites as well as the Town Hall and Felsham Road sites. TRL staff work with ERG as the data managers, maintaining a strong level of communication to ensure a high data capture rate is achieved and call-outs are actioned in a timely manner.
